Solving Computer Problems In The Real World
- The solution to a any problem involves two main courses of action;
- Identifying
the real problem, and then Fixing the real problem!
This means determining, identifying and correcting the cause of the problem, not merely treating the effects. As you know, the effect is often
mis-identified as the problem itself.
- A thorough examination of all the facts involving a
problem is required. This involves knowing what was going on when the problem occured
and subsequent events. It is very important to have an 'informational history' to help determine
the cause. So keep good notes and make 'screen prints' of error messages, etc. to study!
